    Thanks. Do you keep the fire mounted there permanently? Or does your storage/transpo setup require you to remove it between range days and remount?

    Considering moving my Vortex 4000 off a gas gun and onto my spotting scope. SS has rails at the 9/12/3 o'clock to mount it so all options available. Any general lessons learned from others who have done similar and/or things to consider?

    Had it in a krg Bravo and moved it to a Foundation. I was having failure to feed across 5 x different mags, and rounds constantly sticking inside chamber.

    Swapped barrel to a proof. Put into a different chassis. 450 rounds of malfunction free firing today. Finally. Whatever the variable was either the barrel and or combo of the barrel with the chassis.

    Currently own a 338, Magnus RR, and Dominus. All SR. The 338sr on 6.5 AI is hilariously fun to shoot. But I find myself grabbing the Magnus RR most often.
