    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

They both suck at times. The biggest problem is that they rarely take responsibility when it’s their screw up. Trying to get an insurance claim from them is near impossible which put the loss on the sender or receiver. The two should merge and call the new company Fedups.

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

I was told by them the credit card billing address and the shipping address have to match.

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

That would work if I was home, but I’m hundreds of miles away. If I had known there was no option to redirect to a UPS hold for pick up point, which I’ve done in the not so distant past, I would not have ordered it, or at least called to find another solution. It seems it’s a more recent...

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

I would like to know. I’m guessing it’s due to theft and the fact they won’t let us hang thieves anymore nor even go after them; they make us suffer. Is that the short story?

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

Also not an option on My Choice nor with calls to both UPS and Euro. Ridiculous!

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

I have My Choice and with this shipment it offered no options at all. I called UPS and they couldn’t do anything either, not even change the delivery date to next Tuesday when I’m home. Euro told me they don’t redirect to UPS stores anymore nor their hubs. I guess that’s a more recent change...

    Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

So, I know Euro Optic is a decent company, but the way they do their shipping now basically removes me from being able to buy from them ever again unless I am buying something under $500. Here’s the facts. I bought a Leupold Freedom 4-12x40 30mm side focus CDS tri-moa, scope and a couple other...

    Kohberger gets 4 life sentences

He should get general population with no special treatment for his protection; his victims certainly did not get any mercy from him, he should get none from the system.

Hunting & Fishing First Western Elk Hunt…Essential Gear/Clothing Advice Needed

Definitely put weight in your packs and hike, walk on a treadmill jacked up, or a stair machine. Use rice in a doubled garbage bag to add weight and volume to your packs. It’s all about conditioning your body for the weight and cardio. Hiking poles used properly, look at YouTube, help a lot...

Is it Easier to Shoot Sub MOA Further Out?

Interesting discussion. The 270 barrel for my R93 does this and I’ve had it since 2001. If I can get loads to group 1-1.25” at 100 yards, they typically group the exact same, as in 1-1.25” at 200 yards. I never could figure out why, but I apparently I should look at the crown, perhaps it’s...

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

You’ll have to look closely in the picture. I used a combination of walnut I had lying around and a old RCBS metal adapter that allowed you to mount the powder dropper off to the side of a press if you didn’t have a powder dropper stand; it came in the Jr Press kit I got 44 years ago and I...

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

Wow, I didn’t know they stopped. Their trickler is outstanding, if they are not going to offer it as a stand alone, I hope they get their whole unit out soon.

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

I used a hand trickler before I figured out I could use an Ingenuity trickler and V3 brains in my Fx120 and for sure, this set up is much faster than my hand trickling. It just doesn’t auto drop, but the cost to get it to do that, whenever it actually comes out, is not worth it to me. If I...

Best caliber for big game at 400 plus yards

Depends on what kind of elk hunting; guided on a giant private ranch, horse back on public land, or solo backpacking? Personally, I’ve killed two with the good old 7 mag, both under 100 yards. Third was killed with a 300 win mag. I like the 30 Cal’s better with a good bonded bullet or a...

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

You are making me glad I stuck with my RCBS powder dropper I got 44 years ago and mounted it above my FX120i scale that has a Ingenuity Trickler powered by a V3 brain to top off the dropped charge. All I have to do is pull the handle.

    Buying a plane after retirement

Dude, like others have said, rent before you buy and strongly consider a club to reduce costs. Buying a plane after retirement sounds like a golden pathway out of retirement back into the working world if you’re not careful.

    Garmin inreach 67i. Any comments

Are their maps worth the cost? Especially with a screen that small. I bought a 67i earlier this year and have been playing with it, but I’ve not used it on anything other than day hikes so far. I have OnX too. I drew a cow tag in unit 66A in Idaho for October, that’s where I plan to really...
