    I've had several pva barrels and they've all shot great, osprey blanks and rock creek. Never had a straight jacket barrel, but seems there was a thread a yr or so ago where their threads wrecked a cdg action.

    I've got a 233 wylde that loves 75eldm/h4895, and 77smk/tac(650 loaded). I use mdt(plastic)and accurate 223(steel), both modded for oal. Pretty sure with a 20thou jump with 75 eldm, I've got enough room left to reach the .090 match freebore( only .025-.030 diff between wylde and "match"...

    Ai at and ax barrels fit on ae actions, but ae barrels will not work on at/ax. The ae had a unthreaded part on barrel journal that lug covered. The at/ax barrel that's fully threaded works with lug.

    Meh, if my recent testing and dealings with Sierra are any indication, hornady might be better. Don't waste your time with 95smk .22 or 7mm 183smk. Junk ass bullets that vary .030" oal or thin jacketed they come apart. Hard pass

    I had issues with 95smk and a 7tw 22creed. That bullet is thin jacketed and according to Sierra is just for 223 and 224valk, not 22 hotrod. I had a bunch go poof and land sideways or in pieces at 100yds. I ended up using berger 90gr vld and they have been very good. In the other 22creed...

    Op is clutching pearls and broken fp. It sucks that the first barrel appeared to be a tomato stake and that the fp broke. The 2nd barrel was fine, but sounds like you wanted it to perform like an mtu profile and handle long, multiple strings of fire. That will always cause bullet dispersion...
