    I’d recommend a Tikka and the best optic you can get. TT or ZCO used will do the trick. Don’t skimp on glass and get some piece of junk that looks like a constant mirage and tracks poorly.

    Are no dial stages still a thing?

    Yes. Occasionally you’ll see no-dial stages, but even if you do, they trip up plenty of people because they are speed stages without dialing (duh, right?). There’s almost always a trade off with precision and speed, and depending on the size of targets, you’re “stacking errors” against yourself...

    I don’t hold over unless threatened with physical violence. And even then I’ll probably still dial, but everyone is different.

    These stages are rare, and a lot of folks are moving away from the clutter of a Christmas tree reticle. Something like the MIL-C or the JTAC reticle are good examples.

    I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

    You beat me to it! The only company that has a well-known reputation for bullets blowing up is Hornady. 225’s, 143x’s, 108’s and 75’s are great bullets until the jacket flies off enroute to the target.
