    New CHAD clone from Preece.

Was about to but figured I'd read further and see if someone else got to it first. The JP Signature brake was a 100(?) piece limited run, and $350 IIRC, but they did mention that their next generation of brakes would be using lessons learned from the Signature.

    Competition .223 muzzle break help

Rolling Thunder has been out of production for years. Titan is still available but has more or less been superseded by the Titan Extreme.

Those reduce exactly 0% recoil, unless you count the reduction from added weight.

    Competition .223 muzzle break help

The PA Hypertap has been one of the best available for a few years. Top tier recoil reduction, tunable, light and small, not blasty for the shooter at all. The PA M4-72 is probably the only brake I've had that knocks the shooters hat off. It's effective, and on a 20" barrel it won't be as bad...

    Competition .223 muzzle break help

Nah, the performance has been surpassed by smaller brakes for years. Plus it's ugly.

    Competition .223 muzzle break help

Huh, didn't know they finally updated that article. Sweet. Most of those brakes would look massive on an AR though, and some rules sets have brake size restrictions. Not many of them are in 1/2x28 thread either, which is presumably what the OP has.

    Any F1 racing fans?

The best part of the race was Norris' mopey interviews afterwards. Looked like he got kicked right in the dick after his teammate drove off into the sunset.

Specific question on 1 piece scope mount location

All the beefiest uppers and HG's still show some deflection in POI when loaded. Is that really what you want your scope interfacing with? Will it matter with an LPVO? Will it matter if you load the HG the same every time? Probably not, but why introduce a potential variable, however tiny, if...

    AR 15 mystery

Eh, nothing too mysterious. It sounds like you're a bit on the undergassed side and the different pressure curves of the various powders are enough to get you a little closer to the edge of function.

I've been pounding nails just south of Madison for well over a decade now, and as much as I like to give the other trades crap, I've not once experienced any of the difficulties with them that I always hear people complaining about. Maybe it's just because in a relatively small community...

What upper receivers are you guys using to get a good thermal fit?

BKings has been thermal fit for me. Can't remember exactly which model, but they specify on their website.
