    25x47 Lapua load data

I have had good luck with 7.25 twists in both my 25GT and 25x47L. It keeps my SG above a 1.5 per Bergers calculator down to 0 degrees and 0'ASL at 2650fps.

Those Who Have Switched Chassis/Stocks Recently: What Did You Not Like About The Last One?

Manners t4-a, wanted more adjustability and better balance>MPA comp chassis, wanted a longer forearm and easier balance tuning>MDT ACC Premier, wanted more meat on the forearm>MDT Elite, I am happy here and I doubt I will be changing anytime soon.

Why do people load so hot?

I used this tool to make comparisons when giving the 6.5x47 and 25GT a serious look. https://bisonballistics.com/calculators/recoil I could perceive a difference in felt recoil after about a .2-.3 pound difference with what the calculator was tabulating. That said, there is more to it than just...

Why do people load so hot?

Back in 2020 I competed with a large frame AR in PRS Regional Gas division and learned a lot about pressure when it came to yearlong consistency with H4350 and Varget in a 6.5 Creedmoor. I don't recall the charge weight but settled on moving 140's with Varget in the mid 2600's and brought the...

    Whose barrel is better?

In my opinion it would depend on which has exactly what you want as both produce a product that will outshoot me in my personal experience.

    Criterion 223 Remington match chamber

.060 jump is where I start, lol. Loads built there tend to never need revisiting for the life of the barrel.

    Iran go boom

Probably wanted to get this done before Iran was able to get the "small packages" in place that they received from China the other day that may make targeting via GPS less accurate. Right or wrong, a lot of American blood is on the shaw's hand... im not going to lose sleep over this. Just be...

Little Crow Gunworks: Avg POI Is More Important Than Group Size. Thoughts?

Interesting... That's not at all what I have understood from their podcast and videos. Hornady: >Decide what your purpose is and pick a chambering and bullet that fits that need. >Reasearch and use data available in print and online to choose a few powders that fit the burn rate needed for that...

    6mm BR

It is a Maxi that I have and so far I've been very impressed. Yeah, it's loud but I don't feel it like I used to from my old Hellfire and bastard brakes. The recoil is also significantly less but also different, hard to describe other than it feels like it's spread over a longer time.

    6mm BR

Took my Maverick off to try a Botnia on this beast. Zero only moved about a half tenth right. Top two groups where with my lite fill rear bag. Bottom two with heavy fill rear bag. Bottom right was after adjusting .05L on the scope. Should be all set for the Positional Punisher in a couple...

Rifle Competition Events Cleaning for Competitions

I change cleaning techniques as the barrel wears in. My 6 BR crossed over 1200 rounds at the last match. I noticed a dry patch was starting to drag more than it used to in the first 4-5 inches forward of the chamber after my usual C4 and brush routine. Under a bore scope I could see I had...
