Hornady is making knockoff/clone bullets (Aeromatch)

First shots through a new barrel. The Horny Hybrid's seem to be shooting well in this 6mm BR.

    6gt

In my experience 108 eld's will shoot well using the same powder charges as other 105-110 grain bullets and a seating depth between.035-.060 jump is also a good place to start.

    Drones over New Jersey?

Keep your eyes open, this is only a deception distraction. We got true terrorists running amongst us here and dead ones over seas that ain't dead.

    That wasn't directed at you, but 45-120 in a -90 ;)

    6mm Dasher

You'll hit more targets down around 2850... but thanks for reinforcing why one should never shoot someone else's handloads nor take load data advice to seriously from online sources.

    The Sportsman Division

What was said on the podcast wasn't defensible with regard to length requirements or baffle count now that 3d printing technology is here and Ken's statement about probably not allowing mavericks or bosses to be used but TBA and presumably KGM's allowed had me concerned. I was hoping for a tax...

    The Sportsman Division

If it spurs growth in the market for other suppressor manufacturers to follow suit with lower concussive hybrid options I'd say that's a win.

    The Sportsman Division

You are correct if you are only looking at DB... sorry I can't be more concise and maybe energy is the wrong term. If I can locate the test and explanation I will post it. It specifically delt with the concussive properties of the maverick from the shooter's ear and off to the side as compared...

Not really, the maverick in the short configuration does reduce sound energy.

    PRS Talk Gas gun questions

I played the Gas gun division for a couple years, it is a lot of fun. I was running a large frame 6.5 creedmoor I assembled with a lot of JP parts. For someone new coming in and not wanting to throw down a bunch of money into it, I would encourage you to use a 223. Reason being, to do well you...

    6gt

I start at .055 to .060 off touch with 109's in Alpha. Load depends on barrel but usually I'm around 31.5 to 32.5 of varget in a 26" barrel and load to 2830 to 2850. It'll give you 3200+ good rounds and never needs to be retuned or touched.

    6gt

I have had great luck with Amend2 12 rnd mags with the 6gt. It's nice to be able to pick them up for under 20 bucks too. Not sure if I have used any mdt poly's

PRS Talk 2025 PRS series finale date.

Per Ken's interview on shooters mindset they are looking at moving it to earlier... supposed to be on the table at the next MD meeting in December or January, if I heard that right.

    Deciding between 25GT and 25x47

I started off using my 6.5x47 Redding comp seater for both 25x47 and 25gt until I got "the seater die" from SAC. Both have worked out well with very little runout.

I'd vote for the last weekend of the year, that way it will conflict with everyone, or the first weekend of July.
