    Not feeling much sympathy for the owner. I'm about 1/4 of that dough spent on a '63 Ranchero project and brakes were at the top of the list when we started. Throttle sticking, having to ride the brakes, sounds like he should have completed and tested the project before showing it off.

    Don't take money up front. Seen quite a few companies fail because they spent the up front money before they made the parts. Then had to wait for more money to build what they had already been paid for. Search for Leviathan and do the opposite.

    Calling all angry old men, what was life like with 12% home loans?

    Paid 11% on our first home in 1982. around 7% on the second and 4.25 on the 3rd(1990). Been paid off for a while. Life begins when the house and machinery are paid off. You spoiled 2.5%interest with almost nothing down guys have nothing to complain about.

    Sent mine back and got a refund because It wouldn't feed or eject properly. I think he is going to change to a push feed instead of controlled round feed. Seems like a really nice guy and I hope he gets it figured out.

    California is too hard to hit with it's vertical mass. Texas is a better target with it's fat east to west dimensions. Fewer endangered species as well. Think of the Salamanders and Red-legged frogs it would save.

    I've been saving my stainless scrap for over 30 years. It slowly adds up and when I get 5 or 6 barrels full I take it to the recyclers.

    $60k for a base F150?

    With diesel at $6.50 a gallon I'm glad I got rid of my 1995 F350 Powerstroke. I bought a 1999 F250 V10 for $6500 with 104k on it. Only use it when I need to pick up 12' material. The old Ranger does all the regular work. Getting 14.5 mpg with the V10 and 25 with the Ranger.
