    My accuracy node for varget and the 178 eldx ran from 46.2 to 46.6 with 46.4 being the most accurate woth no group larger than.35" and an average velocity of 2819fps. That gives me, according to the hornady app, 2007fps at 500 with 1581ft lbs. Not bad for a 20" 308.

    I have sent 3 emails and called timney twice over the last 2 weeks and cannot get a response. I purchased an elite hunter but it will not reset unless I work the bolt hard. It will drop the firing pin if i am to slow, not hard enough to dent the primer but it does require reworking the bolt...

    Just as a point of reference. I am running the 178s in high pressure 308 Win loads at 2855fps using 48.2 grains of Varget. They consistantly shoot under 1/2" at 150 yards (max distance from my porch 🤣).
