    Stiller vs Surgeon

I own a lone peak, impact, kelbly’s, terminus, zermatt, ks arms, ultimatum, defiance, had a stiller for years, had a surgeon, had a Curtis. The stiller by far had the worst machining, worse finish, firing pin had drag, and was rougher and not nearly as smooth as the others. I sold and have no...

    Lighter weight Vudoo comp rifle?

I’ve competed in rimfire matches with 20”, 22” and 26” pipes. While lighter is faster it’s generally not more stable and tends to be harder to balance a 18-20” barrel. An improper balanced rifle makes it harder to get shoot in certain positions. A lot of people compete in 22 matches to practice...

    Lightweight custom action

Well they released a teaser on Instagram of an integral lw7 but when I asked them they said there was very little interested sparked from it so for the moment it’s on hold unfortunately. I have 2 more hunting builds I would like to do for sure and maybe 1 more match build so I’ll hold off for...

    Lightweight custom action

I have an impact and a lone peak fuzion, a buddy I compete with has a falkor and holy shit they are smooth! I’ll be adding one to the line up for sure. Most likely an lw7 for a hunting build, just waiting to see if they will do the lw7 integral they teased about a few months ago

What is your idea of a perfect PRS rifle build?

Stuck on the action but I’d probably lean this route: Action- Lone peak fuzion, Stock- Vision Pro chassis Barrel- ks arms 1.250 for 5” down to 1 or 1.1” 26” long 1:7.5 twist Caliber- 6bra Trigger- tt diamond brake- spearhead 5 port Although I’m currently building Action- terminus Zeus...

Vudoo vs rim x and gun smith.

I have the rimx, deuce and vudoo, and my shooting partner has a rimx and vudoo. We’ve had 3 different barrels for the rimx’s and 4 different barrels for the vudoo’s. I personally prefer the vudoo and he prefers the rimx. Both are excellent, both feed and extract great. The earlier rimx had a...

    Lightweight custom action

Aero solus hunter checks all those boxes. Terminus Apollo lite checks most, Curtis hybrid checks a few and there brand new Valor Hunter checks them all as well. Ks arms SAR lightweight checks most. If you could get past 60 degree then there's kelbly nanook, bat bumblebee/vampire, bat vesper...

Terminus Zeus Vs. Impact Precision Actions

I’ve only ran 1 CDG, but at its price point it’s amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was of the 3 at the last match I RO’d they were the only action ejecting forward of the firing line in tall grass and losing majority of the brass.

Terminus Zeus Vs. Impact Precision Actions

I have all 3. The impact, fuzion and Zeus. You won’t got wrong no matter what you chose. The lone peak and impact are damn near the same. I run my impact more as for the set up i have currently but I prefer my lone peak slightly. The Zeus is a completely different feel then the other two. Some...

    Stiller vs Surgeon

I have owned both stiller and surgeon, and currently own a list of other custom actions. I wouldn’t use either the stiller or surgeon. If your building a hunting rifle and looking to keep it lighter I would use a kelbly nanook, if your doing a target rifle I would use a lone peak fuzion

Help with a tri pod purchase

I shot with a few tripods and the Fatboy tripods are the most stable I’ve used. Worth a look

Why don't you see more .300 WSM?

The 300 wsm has been a favourite amongst the f-class crowd for years. .284’s have been most popular but 300 wsm has been there for a while and has shown its capability time and time again. A light weight 300 wsm does have some serious snap. I shot a 7lbs 300 wsm unbraked for years for hunting...

If you were building a BR variant today

6bra for sure with the n140 stock pile. Having run 1 br and 2 bra’s I just slightly prefer the bra but both are exceptionally capable rounds with good barrel life. My first bra barrel died at 3000 rounds, my second one is currently at 1200 or so while my br has 900 on it at the moment.

Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

Managed to drop a double this morning. After 10-11 mins the male came flying out and stopped broadside and my brother missed. He took off running and I managed to drop him 10’ before he was back in the bush, 30 seconds later the female came flying out fixated on the call and came right into 60...

PRS Talk What’s your favourite backpack

To be honest I would prefer a smaller bag which is why some of the eberlestocks didn’t appeal to me. I love gear, but at some point dragging it around is such a pain in the ass. That’s the main reason I was looking at the Fehu tillpasse. Purpose built, a little smaller. 90% of the matches...
