    Sounds like you have experience @Huskydriver . What primer do you recommend? BTW I half ass regret the rail trade after the 16.5” wants lol. I just got the 13” Victor Rail in the mail and I’m a fan so all is well!

    Hell..yeah!! That beats $100-150 cerakote jobs lol 90% of the barrel will be covered by the hand guard so I’m not worried about it being super durable.

    at the time it was just Hornady box ammo. The AX will get proper load development and I’m thinking about 123s. But the FARTHEST I can shoot around here is 1000. Nothing a 140 handload can’t handle for punching targets. I’d like to try some 120-130 bullets to get that speed up for critters around...

    Option 1 for sure. I really like the bravo and the ability to buy and be what you want from the start and not need a Smith is big, at least for me anyway. I love shorty rifles. I just ordered a 16.5” 6.5cm for my AX. I used to have a Ruger RPR in 6.5cm that I had cut down to 17 and loved that thing.

    I had an AICS 2.0 700 build that I thought would be enough of a scratch...then I laid my hands on a real AI. I now own an AX and have no doubts I wish I would have done it in the first place. I’d take an AIAT or AX over the baddest 700 clone built with an AXSR 700 chassis.

    Looking to give the rifle a diet and see what people out there would have to trade for a Gen 2 razor. Razor is in great shape and has vortex level, throw lever and defender caps.     Accessories SPF...AI AX/MC Pale Brown Forend Tube and 20 MOA Top Rail

    Tube Measures 15 5/8” and I believe is what they call the 16” tube. Also have the SA 20 MOA top rail that’s a couple inches shorter than the tube. Everything pale brown. Comes with the chunk of pic rail and a chunk of rail with QD port just like the picture shows. $250 takes it all

    Hey guys. I have a factory AI 308 barrel that was chopped to 18” mile high with sub 50 rounds and a 24” 6.5 CM barrel spun up by mile high with sub 200 rounds. I like the handiness of the 308 but prefer the 6.5cm cartridge. I’m thinking of offing those barrels and maybe trying to loose a little...
