I really like that a lot.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

I can’t really go over 2800 for PRS tac class anyway. Plus the recoil is plenty as it is.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

26” Krieger. And zero pressure. I think getting 2900+ would be very doable.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

Lost a club match by two points overall shooting the 169s yesterday, and I bombed the first stage due to being rusty off of barricades and not realizing how much a 308 actually recoils lol. Ran the .255 g7 and it was good all the way to 1000. 42gr 8208 @ 2730 FPS.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

I haven’t tried them. Applied Ballistics shows it at .257.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

Have you compared them to the 168 hybrid? I'm curious as to what the true BC is on them...

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

Took them out again and had to adjust the BC from .265 to .255. Still not bad but definitely no longer an advantage over the 175 BC wise. They are still the most accurate bullet I’ve shot in this barrel and require very little tuning.

Bump. I have 105 and 109 hybrids for trade, or will buy outright.

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

I like it overall. The .1 dots are interesting as well inside 2 mil, but they would need to be viewable at say 12-14x otherwise it sorta turns that section into a half mil reticle, and that section is by far the most important, and I think a lot of people shoot in the 12x range for some stages...

AI AXSR short action conversion kit? (Bonus difficulty: left handed)

Yea so true, barrel cost isn't much different. But lets be real, $600, $900, that's virtually the same in the big scheme of things. Less than a match fee these days...

AI AXSR short action conversion kit? (Bonus difficulty: left handed)

Bolt: $681 Mag: $123 Barrel: $915 Firing pin assembly: $508 $2227 + $140 tax + $40 shipping = $2407 I guess you can skip the firing pin assembly, but that’s how I came up with $2400. I guess you can also use a cheaper blank, skip cerakote, possibly ask for a discount, etc and get it even...

AI AXSR short action conversion kit? (Bonus difficulty: left handed)

Same here. I got a left AIAT last year and the left AXSR recently. I'm still torn on the conversion kit for 308 though. $2400 for that vs just $700 for a barrel for the AT.

Better get on the pre-order list if you really want one.

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

The H2CMR is, in my opinion, just about perfect. If you put a simple tree on it it would be hard to beat. I think the mpact3 reticle is darn near what I’m describing, but with a center dot. The reason I don’t like a center dot is we almost never aim with it. It’s almost always a slight favor...

Rifle Scopes New March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM WA

This is why I actually prefer a full crosshair to dots of any kind. And why I think open circles instead of lines for each mil are faster and easier to use. The ZCO MPCT3 reticle would be nearly perfect with a closed crosshair center.

Firearms Impact Prefit 22BR Barrel, Dies, and Brass

85.5 Berger’s at 2900-3000 FPS. I used around 30gr varget and 32gr r16, could’ve been a bit less. No group pics. I mounted a scope, got a zero, checked dope with two low pressure loads just to get an idea of how it shot at distance. At 300-800 it was shooting around .5-.6 moa or so, no load...
