Change in elevation = change in zero?

Thanks for the responses, always check zero just didn’t know what to expect. I called Whittington Center yesterday because I’ve heard NM has a 14 day quarantine and doesn’t like out of staters, they are open and me and my family will have no problem shooting there. The person I talked to...

Change in elevation = change in zero?

I am taking the family from Texas to Colorado next week and driving through Raton, NM each way. I have always wanted to shoot the white buffalo they have at 1,123 yards so I'm taking my 6.5CM and 224V. My 9 yr old is starting to get excited about shooting it too. I know the dope will be...

    It's just a Mask...

If masks work, why not just open everything back up and mandate masks and get back to living?

5 gallon buckets to store ammo?

I keep a case of shotgun shells in a 5 gallon bucket, still in the box. It's real heavy and I keep some bird hunting equipment (game pouches, shears, etc) in the bucket. I couldn't imagine trying to move a 5 gal bucket full of pistol or rifle ammo.

Filled up my smoker this weekend. Only thing not pictured is 3 racks of ribs that I cooked for a friend. I did KC style burnt ends for the first time. Trimmed the flat and point almost completely separated, then when done, fully separated and cubed up the point, rolled in some Stubbs Sweet...

    Summer Plans Foiled

We were supposed to be in Maui this entire week with the extended family (In-laws) per Grandpa’s final wishes last summer, on his dime. He was a Great American, WWII vet, school teacher and school administrator. I knew him longer and better than both of my grandfathers combined, really glad my...

No commute = no listening to podcasts

My mower is too loud to listen to podcast while I mow, so I usually listen to music then I end up singing the good songs out loud. Hopefully my neighbors love Stevie Ray Vaughan as much as I do. I've found other times to listen to podcasts but if I'm concentrating on something, I usually tune...

    Almost got bit

This guy was waiting for us under my brothers front tire at the farm in ETX. One shot with the 9mm (after he moved the truck) was all it took. Pretty sure it’s a water moccasin.

How to store match 22lr ammo

Wow, I thought I was OCD. I can’t hold a candle to most of you guys. Is the precision 22 ammo that finicky that it can’t move when stored?

No commute = no listening to podcasts
