Quick question for anyone using a McMillan. What torque specs are you using on the action screws. I saw McMillan recommends 45in lbs. So I finally joined the Tikka crowd. I picked up this .308 CTR a few weeks ago after they started becoming available again. The barrel is 16 1/2". I'm looking to pick up a Manners or McMillan if I can find one (I'm not diggin' the 8 month wait).- EasySlick

That screw is an attachment point for the optional Tikka/Sako mirage band. Don't screw it in any further. I guess you can remove it ft you want. It doesn't secure the rail to the receiver. *Beaten like a red headed stepchild, lol..- EasySlick
