Oh man, if you would release a CivTAK plugin it would make the Pro subscription that much more prefect for my use case! I already have Pro just to use Wes, but wow CivTAK would be awesome.
Love that stuff, just make sure you actually read the directions and use the hot water after you take it out of the solution. I didn't on one of my SF cans and it turned into a gummy sticky mess. Soaked it again then used the hot water, perfect.
You can upgrade to elite for a one time cost. The only monthly/yearly fee is if you go to professional. If you don’t want WEZ don’t go to Pro.
The Elite license is included with multiple devices such as a Garmin Tactix or Fortrax, or a Kestrel 5700X, if you buy one of those devices and sync it...
@Doc, will the new Magpul/Maztech work with AB Q currently or are we still waiting on that integration? If waiting, any idea on time frame? Q3? Next year? Thank you!
Looking through this makes me even more impatient to get the stuff in to build a Mod H-ish. Waiting on the orders to deliver and the OCL OCM5 to get approved.
I use a Raptor 10 with the reflex on a 300 PRC. Sounds better than an SF 300SPS, 7.62 RC2, YHM Resonator R2 or Huxwrx Ventum. The only other 30 cal cans I have access to.
ETA pic.
Not on the slightest. I have a kestrel 5700 elite and a calypso. Both of which connect to AB Q.
I personally really like the Tango, why I ordered a second one, but I’m always interested in new tech and I’m a sucker for gadgets.
Odd thing I just noticed on the updated Shotview app. Devices is now showing my Tactix 8, can't tell what the app does with the watch? I don't remember seeing it in there before.
With a Garmin, either watch or Fortrex, you can have a Kestrel and an LRF paired at the same time. AB Q seems to only allow pairing one thing at a time. So you would have to connect the LRF and get your ranges, put that into your target cards and then connect the Calypso to stream the...
I have the Leofoto inverted, SO-322CX and the Leofoto STB-75 X. It's fine for glassing or using a spotting scope, it is terrible for shooting from. There is so much flex and wobble it just sucks to try and build a stable shooting position from. Before I got the STB-75 X I had a normal bowel...
Doc, here is an enhancement idea for you. No idea how difficult it would be. Let us rename the devices. For example, I have 2 Fire4000 WMLRFs, would like to be able to name them something other than the serial so it makes it easier to distinguish.
Agreed. And I like the Tango units. I personally don’t care about the environmental sensors, but having them for just a little bit more is pretty much a no brainer.
