    REM 700 243 rechamber

Is that 6 comp match or 6creed? Creed would need a setback, if comp match nevermind.

    REM 700 243 rechamber

Pretty much all this. The 243ai has the most gains of any ackley improved case. When I had a couple ackleys, fireform load shot in the .5s with 105@3080-3100 and the fireformed case would scream 105s@3300+ into bugholes. I worked up some loads for a deployed buddy in his 243 rem varm, 95tmk...

    Badger Ordnance M2013 project

A 2013 with nitrided bolt and body, several 6 & 6.5creed barrels. A short action mag bolt(also have a spare 308 bolt) in 6.5prc, 25" and 22" bart barrels. Something to remember, the 2008s can be updated to be almost as nice as 2013 bolt lift. Also serial number 100 and lower 2008 have a...

    Tikka actions

Soooo, we got a few guys that need some decaf. Looking at you and fuhQ. In his defense he did say this was about 6.5creed and it was a data point, so lighten up a smidge. You are correct about a tikka thread and I apologize to OP for any derailment that I added. Hard rock, I do find it odd...

Thought it was common knowledge that tikka 6.5creed barrels are slowpokes. I'd need to look at my notes, I did some load work for a buddys 24"6.5 ctr. I used 130normas and 6.5stabil, so it will be peppy compared to normal 140-147 loads.

Not a bad option and the skinny ctr barrel would help with nrl weight. It's a shame the 6.5creed tikka barrels are just slow. My aforementioned 260 mastersporter would send 142smk@2844 with 44.ish gr of h4350. I kinda wonder if their creed reamer is differnet or if they just use weird land...

Well, some alluded to multiple problems with aero, or known problems. That is an issue that most people won't have a problem with if they understand the constraints of cartridge/action length. It is a pain for your buddy, i get that.

10-15x, I'd be worried about bullet setback. It's ashame that the rd he used was the only one that didn't work.

    Tikka actions

I know there was a guy here that had issues with a factory 6.5prc ammo not clearing ejection port. I'm pretty sure the port size is 2.98-3.0", so that was long ammo. This is a 6.5prc in short action problem, and ejecting a live rd isn't a huge deal that is saw with every rd chambered(say like...

I hear this "aero is known for problems," I guess I've been lucky and never had any issue building on their upper and lowers. In fact, most people consider their lower as good as any other forged ar lower. I would appreciate any link to known aero problems. You got me on tha BA barrels, but...

I haven't saw any broken solus bolt lugs or bolt handles, so......Tikka are very nicely machined and my 2 i had were pretty square, I won't lie. My 1 solus is also square and is as smooth as the tikkas, idk man, they both hold a barrel nicely.

KRG W3 and AW mag "bump"

The triggerguard on krg will move back a smidge. The rear action screw hole in triggerguard is slightly elongated and the button head screw that is accessed from inside inlet has a slot to facilitate moving. It sounds like you got it figured out, and I have had to lightly sand on the grip...

AI AT versions question MK3 vs. 2.0?

Yeah, AE, for its smoother bolt and better trigger, lol. I started with a mk3, then picked up an at, then got a deal on a pre14 ax. The at had the worst bolt lift and feel of the 3, bolt was just pretty meh. The ae was like butter and the trigger was light years better than the at(why they...

AI AT versions question MK3 vs. 2.0?

Mk3 is generally used with AI AE series, mk1, mk2 and mk3. 2.0 is the term used on the individual chassis. 2.0 being the folder, 1.5 is the fixed, and 1.0 was the older fixed with plainer stocksides(skins).
