    With the type of resizing die you're using, could the expander mandrel/button not be doing its job since you disabled the decapping operation? Were the bullets a little harder to seat?

    What was the size of the group from those 7 shots? Maybe look at the closest 5 out of the 7.

    look up the headspace dimension spec on the SAAMI drawings. If the number is the same for those two cartridges then yes it should work.

    When you do the next series of powder charge weight I would look for groups that impact in the same area on target. Then I would try different seating depths. Do you have much wind blowing when you are shooting at 200 m?

    I would try more, higher, powder charge weight in 0.3 grain steps. Up to 2700 fps to see if there is a better "sweet spot".

    Accuracy International puts more rounds through a new one than most other manufacturers. My advice is to stop looking for defects and shoot it. That's what AI's are for. They really hate being safe queens.

    You're going to have to call the manufacturer. They'll probably tell you to first try some factory match ammo. Get a box of Federal Gold Metal Match with the 168 gr bullet and a box of Federal Gold Metal Match with the 175 gr bullet and try that.
