lol... Weaver...
Mine will easily focus at 25 yards at 4.5x. Actually just focused on an object across my living room out the back door at about 25 feet just to double check.
Curious as to why the POF isn't working out for you? I have never shot any of the others mentioned in your OP, but I feel my POF308 would not be far behind if not in the same league.
Well minus the 15k round Les Baer super barrel! ;)
I put a Vortex Strikefire on mine SBR/8.2" Noveske with plans to upgrade when I figured out what I really wanted. Its been about a year and haven't found a reason to change it yet.
John Boyette was the one behind the MP-8 reticle with input from members here, but I don't remember the details on the scope design. They are still made I think Gen 4 is when they finally fixed the problem, I had a Gen 2 if I remember correctly and it failed.
I came in to the IOR game after the "SH edition" I remember the threads about the reticle design and scope, but that's about it. Did members scopes fail and IOR didn't step up to fix them? I owned one of the "SH editions" and it failed and IOR replaced it with a new scope, but that was long...
I've had three, 3-18x42, 2-10x42, and 3.5-18x50 in that order. The 3-18-42 failed and was sent back and replaced without any problems, and I'll add it was bought used here on the Hide. After getting the new one from IOR I sold it here and used the money to buy the new at the time 3.5-18x50. I...
I love my SDN-6, use it on a 300 BLK SBR and a 16' POF .308, both shoot like they should, the POF has no problems out to 800 yards. The SDN-6 was never meant to be a precision can. I also have a Cyclone that I have been very pleased with, it was my first silencer and I haven't had a minutes...
Do you have links to Rottweilers? Wanting to get another.. lost a great one that was a rescue several years ago. I just don't trust the sites I have found online and none of them are remotely close to me. So no chance of going to visit them myself. Was thinking about rescue again, but have...
They are solid scopes!! The 3.5-18x50 is definitely my favorite, I've had mine since they first came out and it sits on my go to rifle (APA .308). Bought a Bushnell XRS 4.5-30x50 recently and I am wishing I would of just bought another 3.5-18x50 IOR, not that the Bushy is bad, but I just love...
Had a 3-18x42 it broke was replaced with a new scope, sold it to fund the then new 3.5-18x50. The 3.5-18x50 sits on my APA .308 also have a 2.5-10x42 and it sits on a POF .308. They are great scopes, I don't think you can get much better glass with the features they offer for the money!
Thanks! This is one of my favorites for sure.
When I originally ordered the barrel it was an 8" 1 in 8 twist but by the time I recieved it Noveske had switched to a 8.2" 1 in 7 twist.
Here's what I did.. 8.2" Noveske, Seekins upper & Seekins/CCA lower, 12" Seekins MCSR rail, magpul ubr, AAC SDN-6. Shoot primarily subs, it works great in the truck super small and easy to maneuver!
