    Very happy with my two (3.5-18x50, 2.5-10x42) have owned a 2nd gen 3-18x42 and it went bad, but IOR took care of it without any problems and I bought it used.

    The only way I can see to do it would be to put a level on your scope and see where the bubble is when you get it set where you need it. Torque the rings keeping the bubble in the same spot as you tighten them? Am I even close?

    LL if you level your scope like you are saying how do you assure it stays level when you tighten the rings down? I have been using the feeler gauge method for several years, but this has me second guessing my methods. I have never had a level on my rifle while in shooting position so not sure...

    If you mount your scope with the feeler gauge type method the scope/reticle should be center/level with the rifle. As long as the base is true.

    If the BDC is on they are great .. if not they are not so great. Shoot it out at some distance and see if its on. They are super fast for shooting known distance if your reticle matches your load correctly!

    Based on your pictures of the powder and others pictures of their H1000. I see more of the "other" powder in your picture than I do the H1000. What does it look like to you? Does it look like two different powders? Have you spoken with friend about this to confirm maybe being mixed?

    Don't think he is second guessing his engineering, he was stating they were over-engineered. IMO that's a compliment. On another note, just received my M10 rings from EuroOptic and they seem top notch! Waiting for my Bushnell XRS to see how they perform.
