    TLDR: Most things that you do to reduce drag cause accuracy issues either out of the gate or down range. Manufacturing slowly gets better and better and allows us to "get away with" more and still have the bullets shoot but that projectile would be extremely erratic for a number of reasons...

    We don't have a magic orb that will tell us what the supply availability of imported powders will be in the future. It's very unfortunate and definitely a lesson learned but hardly "deceptive". If we could reliably get RL-26 in sufficient quantities, it'd be in every 7 PRC round we load.
