    MAE is out of business. Keep an eye on Trademe for second hand suppressors. DPT rimfire ones are great. I use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean my steel but be aware that DPT don't recommend ultrasonic to clean their aluminum cans. Something to do with the anodising.

    Being all steel they are on the heavy side for a .22 suppressor, but they are very, very effective, solid and easy to disassemble and clean. The quality of manufacture is apparent as soon as you pick it up. I have a lot of different suppressors but the Parker Hale is my favorite for .22...

    Easy enough to prove they are carried as weapons, not as tools. Simple arrest in this country. We don't even let gang members wear patches in public here. Even wearing a support shirt will get you locked up.

    I've had both, but sold the PII. Great rifles, just watch the tabs on the sides of the magazines. They can become brittle with age and break.

    I see mine often with my Bergara B14R. The higher the magnication of the scope, the more likely I am to see the bullets. Seeing the actual bullets in flight, not just the glint.
