    .224 Valkyrie

We’re using his once shot federal brass (Which had a couple looser fitting primer pockets after just one factory firing). And dummy me I didn’t have the chrono that day. After seeing other people’s numbers I’d guess were pushing 3000 if not over but again I do not know because I didn’t have the...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Excuse my ignorance in not knowing that was you! And I don’t blame you. Makes me wonder if it was supposed to be an NRA release or something and are waiting for a big show release for it after this covid stuff settles down?

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Taken off of AR15performance. I’ve been tempted a few times by a 6mmAR. Once this thing has good availability I’ll have to get one going.

    .224 Valkyrie

I’m helping a buddy with hand loads for his Valkyrie AR. We decided on starting at 27.5 grains 2000-MR and I ended up going up to 30 halfway expecting not be be able to fire those basing on books max recommendations. Well 30 was by far the best result. Anybody else running that much under a 80...

    Wet vs. Dry Tumbling

I’m super confused on people complaining about dry tumbling and dust. I’ve not once never had a problem with dust. Maybe my tumbler is different from the rest but if the wing nut is working loose then shouldn’t you make it tighter next time?

7/17/20 AI update- Is it worth trading out for an AI?

Hell yea. Gods country. You get the grace of using most any cal you want if you so choose to hunt. I’m in the old shotgun zone which now allows for straight wall cartridges 1.8” or shorter. 450 BM is about the best/only option for factory loaded ammo.

7/17/20 AI update- Is it worth trading out for an AI?

Nice man. I can’t get over mine after a year and a half. I’m even trying figure out how to make it into a 450 bushmaster to hunt whitetail with here in MI and decide if I’m too crazy for the thought lol

    Crazy caliber question for AIAX

My rifle with Gen 2 razor, 24” barrel and can weighs like 18.5 lbs. I bet it could get it sub 15 with a mk5 or AMG and some of LRI’s crazy fluting. Wouldnt be that bad to walk 500 yards and lock it into a tripod.

    Crazy caliber question for AIAX

    Crazy caliber question for AIAX

If I have humping it around a lot it would be different and I’d go super light. I hunt a 240 acre farm and parking is in the center of it so I’m never walking that far especially during firearms season. We are limited in case length and 450 bushmaster is only .1” shorter than max. I’ve had a 450...

    Crazy caliber question for AIAX

Living in southern Michigan and we can only hunt with straight wall cartridges. I’ve got this wacky ass idea of spinning up a 450 Bushmaster barrel for my AX. Anybody ventured down this road or have any insight to good or bad idea?

@crossNcrew1718 if you can swing the little extra now this is your best option. Chad and gang over at LRI are top notch and industry leaders.

Rem 700 sps tactical aac-sd vs ADL tactical

That’s a pretty good deal @crossNcrew1718 If you do enough research on any rifle in that price range you’ll find a problem someone has had problem with all of them. Honestly I think the Howa probably has the best track record and I think the factory HACT 2 stage trigger is actually pretty...

Rem 700 sps tactical aac-sd vs ADL tactical

Yea. here’s the thread Frank started on it. It’s taken a few weird turns but worth the read. He also mentioned them and gave them the nod on the Everyday Sniper Podcast so take that FWIW. Check out their website too...

Rem 700 sps tactical aac-sd vs ADL tactical

I’ve read good things about that scope. The new rage in that price range is the Arken 4-16, but don’t have any experience with either, but I’d check it out if was you. There’s a pretty big thread on them in the optics section.
