    One powder, 5.56 and 7.62

I use AR-Comp, as TAC was not available when I wanted it. I would also consider Alliant 2000MR for testing if you are going to try out a few powders

    Swaging Bullets Question

Last year, American Reloading had Fiocchi 158's, but I don't see them now. Might be worth trying the 165 from xtreme instead of the hassle of swaging? I do find that the 158's put a bulge in the brass case, giving it an hourglass shape, but still feed fine in a MP-5 clone...

PSA: Peterson brass (factory seconds) at Grafs?

https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/vendor/vendorId/292?utm_source=Email_marketing&utm_campaign=030520&cmp=1&utm_medium=HTMLEmail Grafs has factory seconds/blems on what I am assuming is Peterson brass, as if I try to buy brass from Peterson, they direct me to the Graf's site and the caliber...

Breaking pins with LC crimped primers

Use a separate decapping die, like the Lee Universal. Has a collet to tension the rod, so it can slip before bending the pin. Otherwise, don’t quickly “slam” the RCBS die/pin into the primer, but feed it in slower, then apply more force after the pin is firmly against the primer.

    LMT .308 MWS

I had previously gone down the route of the Heavy Buffer (10 oz buffer) and Wolff XP spring to try and alleviate the excessive recoil from being over gassed. They helped somewhat, but the result was still not as good as with an adjustable gas block on an AR-10 platform. There had been one...

question for the pro's.... economic value of reloading?

For cost saving, the real question is what is your time worth? If your time spent reloading is a hobby/relaxation, then yes, a cost savings. Not so much on something like bulk .223, as you point out, it is sold for close to the cost of the components. But I can crank out "specialty" ammo like...

    Movie Theater Gemini man scope?

NOT the ATN 16x65z that he should have used.

    SAKO TRG-22

I have a Warne 20 MOA rail on my .308 and then a Spuhr mount on that. In reality, if you don't plan on swapping the scope around to anything else, I would go with a Spuhr mount specific for the TRG dovetail with whatever MOA you might want.

Switched to Dillon 9mm dies, is this normal?

Also, make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Different brands of brass have slightly different neck thicknesses, so one case may just have thicker brass. It becomes much more noticeable with longer/heavier bullets. I use the Dillon dies for 9mm and .40 and have not had any...

    Crimped primer pocket question

If you are not going to have to process a large quantity, a case neck chamfer tool could be used, or a steel or better yet carbide countersink that on would use for screw holes. For large quantities, the Dillon as mentioned.

    SAKO TRG-22

The only thing not to like is the price from Beretta for parts like stock spacers or spare mags! Otherwise, solid, accurate and the best factory rifle trigger out there.

    Gunsmithing AR10 upper vise block

If you really need to torque on it, this (or the more expensive Geissele reaction rod version) so all the force is getting taking up in the barrel locking lugs, not the outside of the receiver...

    Suppressors Gemtech One quick attachment

I use their Quickmounts on several .223 and .308 rifles, but not with that specific suppressor. Lock up is fine, but with the locking lugs engaged, you can rotate the suppressor a few degrees. I have not used other systems, but assume that they are similar? I get slight impact shifts with...

Gunsmithing LR308 barrel nut torque technique

You can try clamping the upper in a vice between some plywood or other semi-soft wood. But risk cracking the upper. https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/rifle-tools/barrel-tools/308ar-barrel-extension-torque-tool-sku080001040-72374-116250.aspx?sku=080-001-040 Tool from Brownells...

    Movie Theater Ad Astra

Saw it on the plane the other week. There is not a lot great/realistic SciFi out there, so worth seeing at some point. A little too heavy on the psych eval aspects, but who know, maybe we need to go that way. But if you are in a vacuum and there is an explosion say 30 feet away, do you hear...
