Last picture for the night. Gotta get ready to play in the snow tomorrow. 😑

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

So I’m going to be running the pro in it’s first match tomorrow and of course it’s supposed to start with rain tonight and turn to snow before morning. Basically it’s going to be wet. I’ve been thinking about the issue of marking the turret for the match and this is a possible solution. Crystal...

    Texas Precision Optics

An extremely better option for the money 👍🏻

Dry torque or use locktite on scope rings

I always put small witness marks on the scope body with a pencil. One just in front of the rings to see if it moves forward and one where the rings come together to see if the scope twists. It says on just fine and wipes right off when needed.

Side by side shot with the Strike Eagle EBR-7C. Set the parallax multiple times to get the sharpest picture on both. I will say the parallax on the Pro definitely seems to be a lot more forgiving. The SE is warmer and less sharp where as the green of the street sign pops more on the Pro. Sign...

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

That’s good to know if I ever find I need a larger turret. 👍🏻

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

Shot you a pm. I am going to try and get a couple of reticle and glass pics this afternoon if I get off work in time. First parking lot impressions are the elevation turret feel nice, I like the SCR2, and the windage knob is smaller than I thought (that’s what she said) but I hold wind 80% of...

@D_TROS @Birddog6424 What works best for marking on the race turret? Just a dry erase or is there a better option?

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

That’s not bad. I think I would skip the pro model wait and just buy the arca rail with a TT Diamond. That’s just me though

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Do you have a total weight with everything mounted up? Looks like it shoots pretty decent. Might pic one up to run on production class or use it for a yote rig on a tripod.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I might be calling it wrong but the lack of reports and the pushed out timeline is kinda worrying. A couple production models are out in the wild now but nobody is talking? Something seems off.

    Texas Precision Optics

Looks like the same Chinese junk they sell at gun shows. Might work for a few days but I wouldn’t trust it to hold zero or track right. The word sniper on the side is always a red flag.

    Is the ammo my problem?

+1 for Black Hills 77gr, that stuff is amazing. You might also try 40gr amax I think. It shot very similar out of my rifle at closer ranges.

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

Pros are in at Liberty in Johnstown for any local NoCo guys. Of course I had to run to Texas for work for a day. I’ll have pictures probably Thursday.

Vortex Gen 2 Razor vs Strike Eagle

On a good day at closer range you won’t notice much difference. It’s when you start trying to spot hits further out or trying to shoot through mirage when the higher price starts to justify itself. I’m running a SE on my 6cm comp rig and it’s holding up well right now. Definitely can tell the...

In Need Of Help From You Guys

That’s the way I would go. You can also get a bog ultra lite head from Amazon I think. It will clamp in an Arca if you already have a decent tripod

That’s awesome. Can’t wait to see some of these out in the wild
