    Shipping an action????

It has for me. I’m not sure if I have been lucky or they aren’t enforcing their own rules. I did read through their policy's after I posted and it does state they will not accept shipments from an individual. I’ll continue to do it until they tell me I can’t. I’m not breaking any laws and the...

    Shipping an action????

I fully believe you, I was just saying what I believed to be true. Been lucky I guess to have a good or wilfully ignorant UPS customer centre in my area.

    Shipping an action????

You are correct, my mistake. The UPS stores are franchises most of the time and it’s up to the owner on what firearm “accessories” they will ship. I had one that wouldn’t ship a scope. The clerk was one of those that had 6 different color hair and 3 nose rings, you know the type. But the...

    Shipping an action????

I printed the label. And where it asked for contents I put firearm.

    Shipping an action????

Reading through the ups guidelines it does say no firearm shipments by an individual. I have a C&R put have never provided them with it.

News to me. Shipped one last week at a customer service centre.

    Shipping an action????

If you print of a label at home or work you can ship firearms with UPS. There is a place to put a description of the goods being shipped. Make sure you put firearm. It is my understanding they won’t accept it at an ups store without a label, meaning if they have to print one out there. Also, if...

    Htx barrels? Anyone shooting one

There is a guy in California making those front sights, I’ll pm you his info if you want to go that route. That’s where I got this one. 1600 for a handguard is more than I could stomach, maybe if all the rest of the parts were KAC, but for a cloneish, couldn’t do it. Plus, like you said...

    Htx barrels? Anyone shooting one

If you get on the URX2 list at Operation Parts I think you will eventually get one for a sane price. They will never show in stock on the website, they will email you and ask if you still want one. Could put it together temporarily with a centurion rail, just to get some use out of all those...

    Htx barrels? Anyone shooting one

Calling it the MK 11 mod .5 . The only KAC parts on the entire gun are the rear sight, flash hider, and rail covers. I didn’t take it very seriously, put it together as a fun gun. And all the mk11 barrels were sold out. I know Craddock could spin me one, but with wait times close to a year.. I...

Franklin Armory Produces NFA Exempt Short-Barrel Firearm

It’s all semantics. They leveraged the ATF’s definition of what constitutes a rifle, shotgun, and or firearm. If there is no specific chamber geometry to be able to fire their multi projectile ammunition this should apply to all 5.56/.223 rifles. There is no way a sane person could argue...

    SR25 Upper Compatibility

Do your pins go in easy on that upper? I had a lead on some Troy uppers but it looks like they fit about the same as the Centurions.

    SR25 Upper Compatibility

In summary the front pin won’t go in on either SR25 upper without a slight reaming. On one LMT lower the pin goes on partially, on another it will seat but with a fair amount of resistance. Lines don’t look bad but there is a slight gap. I’ll run with it for now.

Can you bed without using any Loctite?

If I’ve never put that much heat back into it. All of them I’ve ever done basically turn your reciever into a thermal fit upper. A bit of heat to get the old barrel out, remove any loose or flaking stuff, lightly rough the loctite present in the upper already, re-apply loctite to the new...

Can you bed without using any Loctite?

A little heat and it will still come out with loctite.
