Does your wife do shit like this?

On.Fucking.Queue. I was off today & I was relaxing in the living room. My wife walks in & asks me if I wouldn’t mind putting two pair of shoes & her purse in the bedroom. On my way there, I found a pair of heels around the corner in the hallway leading to the bedroom. In the twenty-three...

Does your wife do shit like this?

I remember that thread because I was LMAO thinking “Haha! I’m not the only one that deals w/ this shit!”

Sidearms & Scatterguns SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

Only that I’m having enough trouble adjusting to progressive lenses right now that I don’t need another variable to complicate my life. The RDS can be a badass tool in the right environment. Like any new tool, it may require time & training to master. I certainly didn’t mean anything...

Does your wife do shit like this?

Man, I feel really let down by this thread. I thought this was going to be about your wife leaving heels all over the house, on the stairs, etc again. Pudding? You must mean meatloaf?

    Measuring Groups in MIL

The reasons for describing group sizes in MOA vs MIL can best be described as “idiomatic” for a couple of reasons. 1. Who cares? 2. It fits the fucking definition of idiomatic. Those who’re multilingual will understand this fact.

    D-Lead vs Leadoff

I’ve been using D-Lead since ‘08. It works well & I've no complaints. If there’s a better product I’m all for using it. If I’m at a range where we take our own steel I use gloves to set up / tear down. One of my buddies has some steel that hangs off 2X4s w/ chains & the wood collects...

Sidearms & Scatterguns SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

This week I started using a new prescription w/ my contacts & progressive lenses in my sunglasses. I’m not so sure it’s going to work, so it’s still tentative whether or not I return to regular glasses / contacts. I’m still getting used to these new lenses. Once I get behind a rifle & shoot...

Sidearms & Scatterguns SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

I’ve seen more than a few guys think the RDS is a magic pill to cure all their ills. Its not laudanum; it’s a tool to be used like any other. Once you get past picking up the red dot off the draw you’ll be fine. I’ve seen your work @308pirate & you’ve nothing to worry about. You don’t need...

Sidearms & Scatterguns SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

I see flinching quite a bit. The good news is that flinching can be corrected w/ quality dry fire. If it’s not a recurring issue just move on & don’t dwell on it. I have students that laugh when I instruct floating the pinky. Some don’t need to practice this method, but those who need it &...

Sidearms & Scatterguns SH handgun Dot Torture challenge

Believe it or not, the easiest way to correct slamming the trigger while shooting one-handed is to float the pinky. Float the little finger like an Englishman drinking tea, - or a P320 shooter drinking a beer.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Hellcat or P365?

I shot the S&W Shield 2.0 today & I must say that I was very impressed. In short, it had a very good factory trigger, recoil was very tame & the gun was surprisingly accurate. The pistol is chambered in 9 MM. It’s a buddy’s pistol so I only put about 50 rounds down range. I could see the...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Hellcat or P365?

A buddy brought a Sig P365 to the range a few months ago. The P365 had a decent trigger & it was very accurate. Headshots on a TQ-15 were boring at 25 yards. The downside was that in the 150 or so rounds we fired, we also experienced a half dozen failures-to-feed. The rounds would...

    16” Truck gun

I’d go w/ the Remington 700 in 6.5 CM for the given purpose. If you go .308 you'll have more bullets from which to choose, such as the Nosler E-tips. Save a buck or two on the stock & pick up a KRG Bravo or Greyboe Renegade. Optics? I’d go Vortex or SWFA for this application.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock Mods - Yes or No?

I generally carry a Gen 4 Glock 22 w/ a Streamlight TLR-1S as my EDC. The only mods I’ve made are a Vicker’s mag release & Trijicon tritium night sights. I don’t mind the factory trigger; it’s reliable & far better than the LEM trigger I shoot on a few other guns. I guess I’m one of the few...

Hell yeah! I’ve been to Singapore twice. I hope you didn’t pass out in the FIRE Club, LOL. I could see from across the street that place wasn’t for me.

How many people die in Die Hard? Holiday drinking game question.

Bourbon doesn’t go well w/ tequila at all. I spent my twenty-first birthday on a WestPac in the Seychelles Islands. I was drinking Wild Turkey (neat) & doing just fine. One of my buddy’s started buying assloads of tequila shots & it all went to hell. I was hung over for days. All I could...

    Musings of a Brass whore

I read the article & it was painful. That being said, the short version is that guns & ammunition are readily available to the criminals but not the civilian population for self defense. *This is the hallmark of gun control.
