Who To Build Me A RimX?

I had my rim x done up by Johnathan as well, chambering, bedding the works, several years ago. Helluva nice guy, great comms and the rifle just plain shoots. If there were any initial kinks, he sorted it out, because the rifle runs as should. Skeetlee /Lee Gardner Precision also gets his name...

    Right handed...but cross-eye dominant.

True in general it will always be this way. However lefty options are more readily available than they were say 10yrs ago..as far as actions, stocks/chassis, complete bolt rifles, triggers. Now is the time.

    Right handed...but cross-eye dominant.

Yes, I have all left hand bolt guns, ar15 platforms are regular with the exception of a few ambi controls. I can handle an ar15 platform rifle right hand fairly well for some reason, almost as well as lefty. But good grief right hand bolt and especially pistol I struggle getting behind and grip...

    Right handed...but cross-eye dominant.

I was born a degenerate...right eye d, left hand strong. Discovered this when my old man bought me my first air rifle Daisy 880 at around 10 ish. He caught me doing this strange thing trying to look down the sights with my right eye shouldering left and just having an odd time. He told me...

    Thermal spotter with range finder

Yes, prior to the Accolade I was using a gen1 Trail xp50 lrf as a spotter...it was at 1.6 native mag iirc. Kinda regret selling it but tbh the new axions look pretty sweet, compact.

    Thermal spotter with range finder

🤣 No I use it hand held, or pass it to my hunting buddy so he scan all hand held in the field. I've been hunting out blinds the past year or two to and less just setup in the field to keep warm, this year Im building a 10x10 elevated shooting house, and the plan is to frame a little window...

    Thermal spotter with range finder

The axions look good, and tbh binos are a bit bulkier, I have a setup for this one in a tripod and such stationary so I have it for a special purpose, other times I just make my buddy haul it and scan 🤣. Axion looks like a real good buy, I think, not 100% but they have all the same options...

    Thermal spotter with range finder

Color pallettes, hopefully some other users will chime in but I have a thermion 2 xp50 as well and it too has same pallette choices.

    Thermal spotter with range finder

It can go 8x its native mag of 2.5 but it gets pretty pixel-ated as you're cutting the resolution down as you magnify. As a spotter I like a wide field of view tbh. Its a great time to be alive as most thermals these days have on board recording capabilities for video and snapping pics. The...

    Thermal spotter with range finder

I have a few Pulsar units..have served me well. For a spotter I'm running their Accolade 2 pro lrf. Their newer production units have several improvements across the board. They also have a line of on-board lrf scopes.

Long Rifles Inc communication "must read"

Well I just gave LRI a run first time on a rebarrel and kote job..they had the exact reamer I was looking for. I've whored myself out to several different outfits in the past. Several names we see mentioned here often, great work with no complaints other than the minor aggrivation of long wait...
