    Preferred setup on 308/6.5CM large frame?

    I purchased the Harbinger 20” 6.5 Creedmoor which is roughly a pound heavier than the .308. I returned my lower to have a .308 upper fitted for hog hunting. I was going for as light of a build as possible. The 6.5 had an Eotech Vudu 5-25 on it. It was also a nice setup but I haven’t shot it...

    Would you refinish it?

    Take it apart and try Citri-Strip first. I did this to a painted Mauser and the finish/bluing underneath was pristine. That chipped up paint may have protected the bluing.I was surprised how easy the paint came off. Boiled linseed oil works wonders on wood as well. Post pics
