Sidearms & Scatterguns Puma Solingen Knife restoration?

I did the same thing earlier - searched for that style Puma. I don’t know if I’ve seen one before. Oil and luck are your friend. Your Puma never dated with a grinder - congrats. I’d be hesitant to sharpen it, while it won’t hurt anything, grab something else if you need to cut something...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Puma Solingen Knife restoration?

Oil it and leave it alone. Better to maintain the patina than ruin the knife.

Suppressors What are you using to suppress SBR .300 BLK

I believe the SF came with one mount, at least my dealer provided one and sold others at a discount. I left one .30 cal adapter free so I can direct thread the SOCOM when I want to. The option to direct thread is a great feature. I have a .30 Warcomp that I can thread onto my 6.5 Creedmore...

If you were to buy a carbon fiber deer rifle...

Nosler Mountain or Long Range carbon fiber! A friend and I looked at most of the rifles considered above at SHOT this year. If I were going for something big out west that would be the gun I’d pick, most likely in 28 Nosler. We handled them all. If they were all in front of me now I’d snag...

Suppressors Remington 700 host but what suppressor would you use?

If I were going to buy one can, right now, it would be the Thunderbeast Dominus - take you pick of the two mounting systems.

    Compact Hunting Rifle

No issues with bolt lift or feeding. I’ve only shot it suppressed with handloads. It is a gem in the field and on stand. It will be tough to find or spec a more compact folding hunting rifle. The Idea of building on a Sidechick chassis is intriguing, but that money could go toward a Fix.

    Compact Hunting Rifle

Buy the Fix. I enjoyed hunting with my 308 last fall and dropped a great buck. The Fix is my go to hunting rifle and I’d like to own another for my sons to hunt with. I saw the Sig at SHOT and it is an option, but not the same. It isn’t as refined as the Fix.

Any have experience with V7 Weapons Systems AR10?

20" 6.5 Creedmore 1. Functions fine, nothing has broken, but I have less than 200 rounds through the rifle. 2. Precision - see attached. I'm shooting to my capabilities, especially with the stubby stock. I know VSeven used Pac-Nor barrels prior to the Pac-Nor fire. My rifle is most likely...

    Ultra Lightweight Hunting Rifle

Fix. Once you set in your stand next season you’ll understand. Add a suppressor for the coup de grâce. Drink the Cool-Aid and enjoy. A 16” .308 or 6.5 will be perfect for what you are doing.

Suppressors Anyone using TBAC Takedown on .223 Bolt gun?

Look at the TBAC .30 Dominus CB or SR. I saw them at SHOT and asked my dealer to order one of each. I considered the .223 TD - it has cool features, but is heavy. Once you own a heavy suppressor you’ll want a lighter one, that is why I am suggesting the Dominus. If you don’t own a .22...

Remington 700 mountain ss 6.5 creed

You and your son will enjoy shooting the 6.5 Creedmore and hunting together. I’d show him both rifles and let him choose - either choice is sound. Personally, I’d go 700, but I am biased. Enjoy your time with your son, they grow up fast. Teach him all you know.
