    Varget may be just a smidge slow on burning rate, but every barrel is different and yours could have a sweet tooth for that combo. CFE 223 / AR-Comp / IMR 8208XBR / TAC may be a little better starting point if you have those powders available.

    I buy the cheap pet reptile bedding walnut shell media on amazon, a couple of squirts of Blue Magic, Dillon or whatever metal polish I have on hand at the time, a NEW Dryer Sheet cut into 3 or 4 strips ( we don't use them for the laundry, it's bad for the dryer and deposits wax on your clothes )...

    The dryer sheets will collect some of the carbon that tumbles off as well. They make my reloads smell nice & fresh as an added bonus.

    If you have high alkali dust mixed with with moisture, not only will it hold the moisture but it gives the the moisture an electrolyte for dissimilar metals and galvanic corrosion. Stainless Steel and aluminum don't play well together in sea water DAMHIK. Austal USA will tell you all about it...
