Using PMII 3-20x50 on TRG 22 and SP10 with QDP-4602 – viable plan?
You could get a very nice used optic in a performance class just below the SB for reasonable price. I just picked up a gen 2 rzr 4.5-27 in a geissele super precision mount for 1500. Its not "as nice" as the SB but what is it,... 90%? Just a thought. I played with sharing an optic between two...- sheepdog697

KAC vs Radian Model 1 vs JP enterprises ctr-02
I have a factory built JP 223, and I can't recommend it enough. With their LMOS/ SCS/ and an adjustable gas block it's the softest shooting 223 I own. Would be great to shoot with your son. With mixed brass 77gr handloads it's a CONSISTENT sub moa 10 shot gun. Easily.- sheepdog697

Ring on bullet
I have this issue with Lapua brass and 143eldx. However, I use a 55gr vmax and have no issues. The ring is minimal on mine, and they actually shoot fine so I haven't followed up on it.- sheepdog697
