Post your range tips. My range tip # 134

Great tip! My buddy and I did that couple years ago, did not take water, and ended up spending a longer time at the range than planned and it got hotter than the forecast. Left the range and raced to the nearest place where we could buy a couple bottles of water. Never again!!

Just received delivery on Beard's Steiner. FYI, I can vouch for Beard in all ways. He shipped the day he received payment. He followed up wanting to hear from me when I received it. I had a couple questions and he was available to answer them . Was a good 'trade' and deal. Went as these...

Gunsmithing Brownells disappointing service after placing order

Yes, Midway is much prompter. I get an immediate confirm. Then 'your order is being prepared' Then within two days later another email alerting me that the order has been shipped w/tracking info. Consistantly that way.

Hi Miguel, got the scope yesterday. You shipped it as and when promised and did the deal the way deals should be done. Have only had time to give it a quick visual inspection but looks like its okay to me. No unpleasant surprises !! lg

Gunsmithing Brownells disappointing service after placing order

I'm like one of the other commenters here. Been using Brownells since the 70s. What's this world coming to? Complaints about a company like Brownells over instances of slow shipping? LOL

Rifle Scopes Optics Choices for my Bergara Ridgeback - Opinions / Suggestions

Hi Sonic, I too own the same Razor as you and really like it. Different scope entirely than the three OP speaks of and asks about. I mentioned I might have gotten the MOAs fo the scopes mixed up between time looking them up and posting here. :) OP mentioned he was wanting SFP scope and the...

Rifle Scopes Optics Choices for my Bergara Ridgeback - Opinions / Suggestions

Of the three you mentioned I would go with the Zeiss. You got more elevation (100 MOA) than the Leupold (80 MOA) which has more than the Vortex(70 MOA). Unless I mixed my numbers up from their sites to here. I think Zeiss has better glass quality. And maybe better build quality. I have...

    Rock River LAR-8

Mine is in 6.5CM. Bought it a couple years ago when they were running a special on the model. Paid 1080? or so. Shoots under 1 MOA w/factory ammo. I've been happy with it since day one. When time comes will change its barrel from 20" to 24" (which they offer now). To be totally honest, it...

First time reloading. Where to go from here. 6.5 Creedmoor

I have an RPR too and it 'likes' MV of around 2700-ish and shoots nice groups ( 1" or under at 100) there, or an MV a tad under). I get that with 41.5 gn of H4350. 140 Hs and 142 Sierras. 2.80-2.81 COAL. It's not fussie. Made hits on steel at 300 and over. The charge is under book max, so...
