    I was just wondering if a Bushnell trophy XLT 4-12X40 would stand up to a mosin nagant with a muzzle break. I also have a nikon prostaff 4-9X40, but i want to eventually put that one on a better gun.

    Gunsmithing jb bore bright/bore lapping bullets.

    I have an old rifle that the back twords the reciever looks dull/ lightly feosted. But the rifling is still strong. Would jb bore bright help this out and get it to a shine. Or could I use bore lapping bullets. I wanted to get the most accuracy that I can out of it

    what is this in my savage barrel

    I was cleaning my save barrel and after I cleaned most of the copper fouling out of my barrel but these white dull streaks remain. One side they go all the way up to the crown the other they dont. Cleaning doesn't do anything to them. Can anyone tell me what they are .

    accuracy of old barrel that isn't perfect but still good.

    Can you get good accuracy out of a mosin barrel if it isn't perfect but still pretty good. The rifling near the front is bright but tword the back it looks dull and frosted. Rifling is sharp looking through out. Muzzle looks pretty good too.
