    I picked up large rifle magnum instead of standard by mistake. How does 308 do with magnum primers? I've used them in 22-250 before but I've not used them in 308.

    New build (.223)

    Built by Carolina Precision Rifles: .223 model 70 with a 26" 7 twist schnieder barrel and HS precision stock. Took a solid year to build, but it was worth the wait. I can shoot a 3/4" 200yard group with my eyes closed with this rifle!

    Got some time in this one... Its a 308, all stainless. I rechambered the Rock 5R barrel. My load at 2.81" oal sits 10 thousandths of the lands. After resetting the barrel the length is 23".     .223 load rl17

    My manual show just over 26 gr of rl15 to be max load for a 75 gr AMAX @ 2.39 oal. Seemed hot to me so I loaded up some at 25.2 gr rl15 with an oal of 2.5".     I have a mislpec 1911. Does anyone make parts like skeletonized hammers to replace the spur or a larger backstrap safety that don't require the honing and filing and frame milling that most of the upgrades require. I'm looking for more bolt and go if there is such a thing.

    Rifle Scopes sn-3 ergo question

    I have a USO sn3 ergo. It was manufactured in 2005. Have there been any significant changes or upgrades to these scopes since 05? Significant enough that I should try to upgrade or are they pretty much the same scope today that they were back then?
