    Boresighter = crown damage?

    Do boresighters usually cause crown damage? I'm talking about this model here: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/barska-deluxe-iron-boresighter-kit.aspx?a=431352 This one has what look to be STEEL arbors (meaning they look like they'd scratch up the crown and rifling!).

    Suppressors Rifle shooting five feet low!

    Guys, I tried to sight in a new .308 rifle tonight. I had an IOR 20moa base, Badger rings, and a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-12x40AO. I completely ran out of elevation adjustment, and my rifle still shot approximately five feet low at 100 yards. Is the base hurting me? I have it installed like the...
