Fedex delivered a nice box from Mark at Short Action Customs today. It had two Rem. 700 bolts that recieved Badger bolt knobs and a cut down and threaded Rem 700 .223 barrel. .223 52gr and 1:12 twist
I picked up an sps varmint from a friend over the weekend. It has a 1:12 twist 26" barrel. After some searching it looks like this twist like a 52gr bullet. My question is how far am I going to be able stretch this light bullet out to if I cut the barel down to 22 or 20 inches? I would like to...- Nighthawker

My POF finally has glass..
and is ready for the range. It is a POF 308 w/ 16" barrel, Magpul UBR, US Optics ST-10 in Badger med-high rings. I got it on paper earlier this afternoon with some surplus .308. Rifle Scopes Which optic for 16.5" POF 308
My POF just arrived at my dealer today so I have to get going on purchasing an optic. So far I have narrowed it down to an Elcan 1.5-6x, or a NF 2.5-10x32.
