Received my New TR Today
Well gentleman I received my new TR Today. I am hoping to shooting latter on this morning. This gun is just like we saw at Shot Show. Got her cleaned but the bolt is not very smooth. Need help with a Remington 597 issue
I have been helping a buddy with his 597 and we are stumped as to what is causing this problem. When the barrel is cold the first two shots string about 2.25" apart. (See # 1 and #2 in pic). Third shot was in between. So far the first couple of cold bore shots are unpredictable. No pattern...- jlopez

What actually causes copper Fouling
I find lots of topics on how to clean copper fouling but can not find a topic on what actual factor cause less or more fouling. Logically I would think faster speeds would be a cause but at what point will this make a difference? Also I would suspect the alloy mixture of the copper jacket...- jlopez
