    which calipers are worth it?

    My 2nd set of Calipers just decided to stop reading. (battery changed) ...I'm not making my living off reloading, but do appreciate a good tool. Anyone have a favorite? easy to change batteries? Thanks for any input. Gary

    Reloader 15x

    Does anyone have/use Reloader 15 for 308? alliant just gives a single charge load. ie:45gr for 168gr bullet. Nothing shown for 178gr A max etc.

    zero'd @ 100 yds. with NF Rings and 2 piece 20moa base(s) on a 308 Savage, I've lost over 100 1/8th" clicks. Anyone know how to figure what base would give those back to me?

    changing zero

    So is there a consistency between temperature and zero? I went out yesterday and found zero @ 100 yards, then .5mil for 150 yards and .7mil for 200. Today, it got up in the lower 70's and became .3 mil for 150 and .8 for 200! any comments?

    I usually spend some time researching b4 just buying a rifle, but after selling my lever gun, and looking around, I just bought their semi auto .17 ... think it was a mistake? They're even kinda bragging they're the only one left still making a semi auto .17 .... can't bark their reputation...

    Savage History?

    I have a Model 10 with a Choate Stock. I'm pretty sure it's a 26" barrel, 1 in 10 twist. Seems the later models have shortened the barrel and changed the twist. Any idea what year they made this?
