    Gunsmithing M40 Swivels

Were the M40 swivels blued, Parkerized, some of each? This is for the M40, not M40A1 or later. Thanks.

    Gunsmithing M40 Stock

Any new or recent source for a M40 stock? I've tried the ADL with pressed checkering route, but even after steaming the checkering out the best I can it takes to much sanding for the proper shape. Suggestions? Anyone know of one for sale? Thanks, Dave.

Parkerized or...

    Gunsmithing 700 ADL Stock Mods

If I sand the checkering off of an ADL stock to make it more like the M40, would it remove to much wood? I don't want it to be abnormally thin when I'm finished. I'm not sure how deep the factory cheering typically is. Thanks.
