Hecate .50 cal?
Anybody have any time with a .50 Hecate? A friend of mine just got one a few months ago as part of an inheritance collection and there is not much out there on them. Cheers- noflyers

Gunsmithing Any benefit to higher quality fasteners?
Has anybody noticed any accuracy improvements, torque setting retention or other improvements by replacing original fasteners ie, action screws and such with higher quality fasteners. .260 barrel length and heavy 6.5's
Guys, Santa brought a used .260 this year and I am thinking of cutting the barrel down from 26" to something shorter (I have another 26" gun) anybody had any luck with a 1:8 twist in shorter barrel lengths? (Shorter meaning less than 22") Is less than 22" just too short for 139 + gr 6.5's...- noflyers
