how to tell which Savage?

How do i tell which model 10 savage I have? Its a 24" heavy barrel, says Tactical on the bolt. I bought the rifle used so thats why i ask. Seems like the FP but it doesnt say FP on the barrel?

Cutting down my savage 10

I know its been discused but, Im wondering has anyone cut there Savage 10 .223 down to say 16-17" from 24". Im only looking to shoot in the 2-300 yrd range.
