    I just purchased a Nightforce NXS Compact 1-4 with mil-dot reticle - it is great...but I noted that there is some oil/grease looking smudge at the 9 o'clock position. It is transparent so probably some type of oil. It is also only visible at the 1x magnification. Zooming in beyond 1.5x or so...
