    stock rifle for newbie

    Picked up a Savage MKII BV .22 for cheap shooting, now Im hooked, especially on Savages. Im ready for centerfire rifle target shooting. I have access to a 300 yard range locally so I dont see an immediate need to shoot much farther out. I think .223 should fit my bill. Im gonna start reloading...
