Range Report Can my rifle handle these rounds?
Hi, I am just starting off with long range shooting and have a Remington 700 SPS rifle in .308. I don't know if the barrel is considered light weight or medium weight (it's for sure not a heavy weight), but will it handle shooting Federal Gold Metal Match 168gr and 175gr rounds. Your input...- hewn

Gunsmithing Gunsmith in northern Wisconsin

The Ultimate Sniper
Since I am just starting out in long range shooting, I was wondering if the book: The Ultimate Sniper by Maj. John L. PLaster is worth getting. Is there a ton of good info in it to get me started? Can anyone recomend any other good shooting books? Any help will be greatly appreciated...- hewn
