    I am curious, I just mounted my first canted base, a 20moa EGW. I was wondering how you calculate the height over bore for these bases since they are sloping. Is the measurement taken near the eye piece and you just ignore the change at the objective?

    Is there any difference in the BTVSS and the current BTVS besides the color of the stock? I prefer the gray BTVSS but do not want to purchase it if it is inferior somehow to the BTVS since the BTVSS is no longer produced or listed on Savage's site. Thanks
