I'm building a 6.5X47 Lapua, I have a Rock Creek 5R M-24/M-40 contoured 1:8 twist barrel. I want to use 130, 140 VLD's but I don't know what to run the finished barrel at, 22" or 24"? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Z
I installed a new Badger M5 bottom metal to my 700P before last shoot. In practice and at the shoot I had it fail to pick-up next cartridge with 10 round AI mag. Also the mags fit pretty loose and have alot of play. Is this normal? Anyone else had this happen? Fixes?
Thanks,
Z
I've got a project rifle, a friend talked me into a 1:7" twist barrel. It's a Rock Creek 5R stainless...my question is finished barrel length 22" vs. 24" w/ 139, 140 & 142 bullets.
Any thoughts?
