Help with bolt or maybe gas block?
What would cause my firing pin to punch a hole on the primer? It's also leaving some good marks on the case. I recently took the bolt apart to clean it and the gun went from under 1 moa to over 2 moa accuracy. I also have a pri adjustable gas block that my be overgassed. tips on reloading for ar-10 chambered in .308
Besides mag length, do you guys have any advise on reloading for a semi auto rifle in .308? Do I do the same process as with bolt actions? Will the brass from my bolt gun suffice without leaving ejector marks, or should I load lighter on the powder. Thank you for the input.- fastgixxerlv

Rifle Scopes Got to see for myself the COUNTER SNIPER SCOPE!
I got to finally check these out in person today. Very nice looking and pretty clear. The guy was nice enough to let me fire off 3 rounds with his gun so I can test elevation adjustment. "Guess what?" It sucks! First 10 moa up was 9 3/4", 2nd was 7 1/4", and 3rd was 11". WTF!- fastgixxerlv

Alliant Reloader 17 accuracy?
Does this powder suck or what? Sure I'm getting higher velocities with Berger 185gr. VLDs, but the accuracy isn't where I want it. I've tried them jammed and off the lands and still getting over 1 MOA. What other powders can I try with the VLDs? I guess I can order but mostly limited to what...- fastgixxerlv

Velocity question
What would cause my velocity to go up so much faster than the manuals? My manuals says that maximum loads for 180gr. bullets over IMR 4064 is 45.2gr. at 2683fps, @ 44.5gr. I'm getting 2835fps with slight shinny marks on the head. When I did the OCW test I did'nt chronograph the other loads. 44.5...- fastgixxerlv

HAPPY 4th!!! ladder test question?
Happy 4th and hope everyone has a safe night! I did a ladder test this morning and got this. It was 600 yards lasered. Why is the vertical string not that long? And, do I refine the 3 that grouped at the bottom and the two at the very top? Thank you!- fastgixxerlv

RL 17 with 185 Berger VLDs
Hi. New here... Anyone out there using this combo? I'm looking for more load info to compare to than the Alliant site.
