Question for you Grooved receiver guys.
Are you guys using a an adapter to use weaver or picatinny rings? If so any recommendations as to which one to buy. Possibly one that mounts as low as possible? Cutting down the barrel ?.
I have a savage 10fple in .223. Its the 20" version with accutrigger but without the accustock. I've finally honed my skills enough with the rifle to shoot sub moa out to 300 yards. But it's heavy. It does this with almost all factory ammo I put through it. I want to cut the barrel back to 16"...- James0101

Savage 10 fple .223 newb ?
Rifle is all factory. I've finally found a factory load that the rifle likes (40 gr vmax of the fiocchi brand). Most factory ammo shoots an inch or less @ 100 yards but the fiocchi consistently prints .4"-.5". My glass is the midway special BSA 6-24x44 30mm in leupold prw rings. The optic is...- James0101

Rifle Scopes ? about my millet dms
are the turrets usually so mushy? i can't feel the clicks or hear any audible sound while turning them. is this something i should send back? it holds zero on my 10/22 but man its hard to make any adjustments to go from a 25yd zero to make quality shots at 100yds. there is no intent to bad...- James0101
