    Gunsmithing ackley go guage question

    I have ordered a 260AI barrel for my Savage 10. I know that when improving a chamber the parent case go gauge becomes the no go gauge and the go is .004 shorter. Midway shows a 308 40* improved go gauge in stock and the 260 improved can be ordered. Will the 308 improved gauge work?

    I was at the range today and my trigger locked up when i closed the bolt. I know that if the trigger is set too light and you jam the bolt closed the accutrigger will lock the sear.     I have searched, but am still unclear on weather you still need to have the parts you are coating bead blasted before applying gun-kote or if you can apply directly over the factory parkerized finish. thanks in advance
