Cratered primers on FGMM fired from my POF P308. Is that normal?
I'm getting ready to start reloading for my P308. I wanted to compare the headspace from a fired round and an unfired round from the same box of FGMM. Help choosing bullet for 16.5" 308 @ 1000 yards
I know that a 16" 308 isn't ideal for 1000 yards. I'm not looking to shoot f class or even shoot that far regularly. I have a 16.5" POF P308 with a 1:10 twist barrel. My new POF P308 W/ Vortex Viper PST
I sold my ar15 and 700 replaced them with a new ar10. A POF P308 16.5". I put a vortex Viper pst 2.5-10x32 ffp scope on it with Warne maxima qd rings. I'm also trying out some offset iron sights. I just sold my 700 308 and traded my falcon menace for a Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 with mildot reticle and target turrets installed by the Leupold custom shop.
